What are your prices?
The base price for a 1 hour portrait session (family, couple, senior, portrait) in the immediate Grand Rapids area is $300. From there I add travel, extending circumstances, and event type. Every photo session is different, so is the price!
What Payments Do You Accept?
HERE'S THE THING! I love a good trade. I would LOVE to trade things like: food, products you make, services you provide, traveling stays, tickets, plants, etc. Please do not be shy, I am always open!
Do you work with budgets?
Yes. There's normally always a way for me to work with most fair budgets. It might require you to do the traveling, a payment plan, or a barter of some sort, but I like to try and work with you where I can.
Do you Travel?
I do travel. Most of my clients are Michigan based, but I can offer travel quotes on a case by case basis.
How long have you been doing this?
I've been photographing clients since 2010. In high school my art class took a trip to the Detroit Institute of Art where there was an Annie Leibovitz gallery and it inspired me to do photography that day forward.
How many photos do we get?
I don't limit the amount of final photos you'll get in your gallery. The amount of photos you get really depends on how our shoot goes and I guarantee the photos I deliver are the best ones we took.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will come to you in an online gallery. There are options to download the entire gallery, individual photos, sharing capabilities, and print offerings. If you need your photos delivered another way, please let me know when you inquire!
Do you retouch photos?
Yes and no, I mainly edit color color and light. I make sure that the colors you see in your photos are as close to true to life as possible and that the lighting has my signature moody style. I occasionally remove background distractions. I do not edit personal features. I won't make you skinnier, remove tattoos, permanent moles, etc. If you are self conscious about a part of you, please let me know when we're setting u your photos!
Whats your turn around time?
Turn around time depends on my busy seasons and the type of photos we've done. A family photo session will take less time than a wedding, etc. For a family or portrait session, the average turn around time is 2 weeks.
How do we book you?
Please use the form on my contact page and let me know all about the vision you have for your photos, what kind of photos you're looking for, and anything else you think I should know! I want to make sure that we'll be a good fit with each other!
Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely. There's rarely a part of Michigan I don't have locations for and I am happy to research any new areas as well.
Do you photograph weddings?
I only take weddings on a case by case basis. The closer your wedding is to an elopement, the more likely it is I will shoot it.
